Advanced regatta sailing course-3 days
Three day advanced sailing course, with or without a team! Experience sailing in a slightly more intense way. Treat yourself with an unforgettable experience filled with adrenaline, great atmosphere and new knowledge.
Advanced sailing course is held on a regatta sailboat manufactured by Justin Ten with extremely sporty performance intended exclusively for regatta sailing with various sets of sails.
You will be acquainted with all the important information related to sailing under the guidance of an experienced skipper.
Advanced sailing course is intended for participants who have a lot or some experience in sailing, but it does not mean that the ones who are sporty and ready for "sweet" tortures are not able to attend.
If you are ready for the sea, wind, shouting, sweat, adrenaline and the real "regatta" sailing, we are ready to bring it closer to you in the best way ... to love it and never forget it.
Two participants are needed in order to organize advanced sailing course.
Plan and program
Day one: Zadar-Ždrelac-Sali,island of Dugi Otok
Accommodation in a sailboat follows after the meeting with the skipper in the marina Tankerkomerc Zadar. The skipper will advise you on food procurement and food planning for the next three days. The planned departure from the port of Zadar is around 09:00. After departure You will be introduced to the parts of the sailboat and sails (basic terminology, working principle and everything else necessary for safe navigation).
Sails will be raised for the first time under the guidance of the skipper after leaving the port of Zadar.. The planned route is Zadar-channel Ždrelac-Sali, Dugi Otok. During the sailing you will learn to trim the sails, where each crew member must be at a certain moment, the rules of avoiding collisions at sea and the knots you need to sail. You will master turning to the wind and turning down to the wind. The planned arrival in the Sali, island of Dugi Otok is in the afternoon, followed by the mooring of the sailboat and accommodation in the apartment.
Day three: Sali,island of Dugi Otok-island of Ugljan-Zadar
You will spend the third day of advanced sailing course sailing from island of Dugi Otok to Zadar and as in the last two days You will practice sailing in the wind and downwind. During the voyage to Zadar, one stop is planned on the Island of Ugljan. The planned return to the port of Zadar is in the late afternoon.
